Jacob & Co Unveiled: Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon
Debuting at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the Bugatti Chiron is the long-awaited successor to the Veyron and the first road-legal production car to break the 250mph mark. To achieve such incredible speeds, Bugatti had to develop an engine capable of delivering massive horsepower. Its 8.0-liter W16-cylinder engine with four turbochargers has become a legend in the automotive world.
In 2019, Jacob & Co. signed a partnership with Bugatti to produce high quality fake watches under license for the automaker. The result can only be described as thrilling. The Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon watch recreates the carmaker’s extremely complex engine in miniature form and places it in full view of the watch’s face. This isn't just a static model, but a fully animated replica sitting on functional suspension coils.

Jacob & Co. has unleashed yet another time beast in the world of horology. The famous New York watchmaker has just launched a new high-complication tourbillon inspired by the high-performance Bugatti Chiron.
The watch is one of a handful launched in the multi-year partnership between the two luxury brands that began in 2019. Like its predecessor, this luxury fake Watches comes with a functional miniature replica of the Chiron's W16 cylinder engine to please petrolheads. Although it doubles on the bling.
In fact, this iteration boasts no less than 190 baguette white diamonds, 109 baguette black sapphires, and 42 baguette orange sapphires, all set invisible in an 18K white gold tonneau case. Jacob & Co. says gem setters use new proprietary and advanced techniques to properly set rare gemstones. The case measures 55mm x 44mm and also features the same streamlined shapes and multiple Bugatti logos as the Chiron.
Like the French brand's curve-hugging supercars, there's a lot of precision engineering that goes into this six-figure wrist candy, including a flying tourbillon set on a 30-degree tilt. Similar to the real-life Chiron's 8.0-liter 16-cylinder engine (capable of 1,500 horsepower), the watch features 16 tiny pistons and a tiny solid steel crankshaft that moves up and down like a regular mill. At the same time, two "turbochargers" (actually Bugatti's four) spin in tandem, adding to the dynamism.
The watch is once again powered by Jacob & Co.'s JCAM37 manual winding movement, which consists of approximately 578 parts. It's suspended in four places with components that resemble the Chiron's actual car shock absorbers, clearly visible through the sapphire crystal window. The movement has a 60-hour power reserve, indicated by the universal air pump symbol located on the side of the instrument at nine o'clock.
